    UltraPulse® life changing technology

    Changing scars- changing lives

Developed in 1990, the Lumenis UltraPulse® is the most powerful CO2 Laser in the industry. Initially developed for medical application, it was applied to aesthetic skin resurfacing in 1994, while in 2009 the laser was discovered and developed for the improvement of scars. Further diligent research led in 2012 to the release of the UltraPulse® SCAARFX™ deep fractional resurfacing modality, that offers dramatic improvement in severe scars in a minimal invasive way.

Since its introduction, the UltraPulse platform has improved the quality of care and life for scar patients all over the world. Quickly becoming the standard of care for severe scar patients around the world the UltraPulse technology has been used in many humanitarian missions, to treat wounded warriors and war survivors. The technology is also being used to treat Kim Phuc, a survivor of the Vietnam War bombing, also recognized as “The Girl in the Picture.”

UltraPulse SCAARFX appears in multiple scientific papers and was included as a recommended standard of care for scars by the European guidelines and the AAD consensus paper..
